Help required
I have recently obtained a Marriage Certificate for a marriage in 1919 in England which includes the following German names:-
HEDWIG Edith Emily Marie Louisa Genz, age 45, formerly POLEY. Formerly the wife of Frederich Ludwig Gustav Genz (from whom she obtained a divorce.)
Father - William POLEY (deceased) a Brewery manager.
Hedwig appears on the 1901 census as H POLEY born Magdeburg, Germany, so I guess she was already divorced.
Any assistance in how to find the divorce record would be helpful, as would any common interest with the names.
